A story about a talk by the Winterport town manager in some editions of the State section Monday gave the wrong venue for the gathering. It was before the Bangor Area Breakfast Rotary. Winterport’s tax rate is $19.70 per $1,000. The $15.90 tax rate quoted in the story is the state full valuation rate.

A story on the Wednesday State page about a poll regarding last fall’s racino referendum question should have said that the results were subject to a margin of error of 4.9 percent. The poll, conducted by Strategic Marketing Services of Portland, was commissioned by the Citizens Committee for Revitalization of Historic Bangor Raceway.
