Correcting the record

A headline in Wednesday’s State section about the SAD 63 budget meeting was erroneous. The budget was explained in line-by-line detail during the Tuesday night meeting. Superintendent Louise Regan reiterated Wednesday that the draft budget was a working document so copies had not been made for public dissemination.

A photo caption on the front of the State section Wednesday listed the incorrect name for the mother of Tyler Wintle. His mother’s name is Sandy Wintle.

A story about a proposed air quality study published on Page B4 of the State section in Wednesday’s paper incorrectly attributed a quotation. State toxicologist Dr. Andy Smith said that the residents of Griffin Park in Bangor wish to see their health concerns documented.
