A story about the University of Maine at Fort Kent on Page B2 Thursday erroneously stated that the University of Maine System’s draft strategic plan proposes merging the campuses at Fort Kent, Presque Isle and Machias into one campus. In fact, all three campus locations would be preserved but as part of one multicampus university to be called the University of Northern Maine.

In Thursday’s Page One story about the state’s plan to offer mail-order drugs through MaineCare, Jude Walsh was incorrectly identified as the director of the MaineCare program. Walsh directs the Division of Healthcare Management and Member Services within the Bureau of Medical Services.

A story in the State section of Thursday’s paper about closing the Chickadee Family Literacy Center in East Millinocket incorrectly included the Chickadee Preschool, which is operated by a different organization. The preschool program will continue to operate.
