The editing of a letter Monday by Ralph P. Pettie of Blue Bill resulted in an error. July 3, 2004, marks the 75th anniversary of the death of the actor Dustin Farnum, who was raised in Bucksport and is buried in Silver Lake Cemetery there. His brother, the actor William Farnum, died in 1953 and is buried in Hollywood’s Forest Lawn Cemetery.
