An item published Friday in Joni Averill’s column requesting volunteers to help with the Hoit Pool landscaping project in Hampden listed the wrong days for the project because incorrect information was provided. Volunteers are needed at 8 a.m. Friday, June 25, and 8 a.m. Saturday, June 26, at the site.

A story published in Thursday’s Final edition about a Corinna man found guilty of two burglaries incorrectly referred to Detective Sgt. Robert Bryant as a member of the Orono Police Department. Bryant was a member of the department in 2002 when the initial robbery at Penobscot Valley Country Club took place. He since has left the department.
