The Penobscot County Superior Court listing for Dale Braley in Monday’s State section should have been for a probation violation charge, which was withdrawn in May.

A story in Monday’s State section on the local fund-raising effort for the 66th National Folk Festival requires clarification. The National Council for the Traditional Arts generously supports the National Folk Festival in the form of in-kind service totaling about $125,000 per year, but in addition the community must raise a total of $600,000 in local money to make the festival possible, according to Michael Crowley, chairman of the Bangor festival and vice president of Eastern Maine Charities.
