Correcting the record

The incorrect first name was listed in a Monday sports story on the high school cross country championships. The winner of the Class D boys race was Justin Morin of Madawaska. The wrong person also was listed as the Madawaska coach. The coach is Maurice Lizotte.

Cold Brook Saab is located in Skowhegan. Its location was printed incorrectly in an article appearing in the Oct. 25 “New Car Preview” advertising supplement.

An article published Saturday in the State section incorrectly stated that the New Voters Project is an effort led by the Maine Secretary of State’s Office. The project is an effort led by the State Public Interest Research Groups and the George Washington School of Political Management, according to Kate Simmons, project state director.
