A story published in Saturday’s State section about convicted murderer Dennis Dechaine should have stated that it was prosecutors, not defense attorneys, who have suggested that a biological sample from the nails of victim Sarah Cherry, 12, may have come from another cadaver examined by state doctors or a medical technician.
