A story that appeared on Page One of Thursday’s newspaper should have said that Scientific Games International Inc., the company selected to monitor slot machines proposed for Bass Park, will receive 0.55 percent of the net profits from slot machines.

A story published in the Thursday, Dec. 9, State section about a Massachusetts man indicted for smuggling cash into the United States requires clarification. The van that Nhu Phong Nguyen, 25, was driving is not registered to Arbella Mutual Insurance of Quincy, Mass. That company insures the vehicle.

“The Phantom” black-and-white comic strip was omitted inadvertently today from the comic pages. The correct comic strip is published today on Page C5.

A story on the Business page of Thursday’s paper misidentified the person who was re-elected vice chairman of the Maine Wild Blueberry Commission at its meeting last week. Delmont Merrill was elected to the position.
