In a Feb. 9 story about Princeton University economics professor David F. Bradford being severely burned, The Associated Press reported erroneously that he was injured while carrying a burning Christmas tree from his home. Bradford’s son, Ted, said his father did not try to carry or remove the burning tree and that he was burned while exiting the house. Police say their investigation shows Bradford was burned as he tried to move the tree or put out the fire. David Bradford remained in critical condition Tuesday at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia.

The report of cases from Ellsworth District Court that appeared in Tuesday’s State section contained inaccurate and incomplete information. Tynna Marie Guyton, 22, of Sullivan was fined $250 for operating a motor vehicle while her license was suspended or revoked. David M. Hall, 30, of Trenton was fined $600, sentenced to seven days in jail and had his license suspended for one year for operating a motor vehicle while his license was suspended or revoked.

A story in the State edition of Tuesday’s paper about a former teacher sentenced to three years in prison for transmitting child pornography over the Internet incorrectly identified the school where he taught. Christopher Reardon, 35, of Houlton taught at the Holden Elementary School.
