In a Dec. 11, 2004, story, “Machias drug convict released to home,” the BDN, basing its story on court documents, incorrectly reported that Holly Lee had “been indicted after Maine Drug Enforcement agents arrested her in August 2003 for a drug sale to an undercover informant in Marshfield.” In fact, Miss Lee was indicted for trafficking in scheduled drugs, but not to a law enforcement agent.
