A story published on Wednesday’s State page about Larry Gagne’s sentencing for attempted murder incorrectly stated the sentence recommended by prosecutors. Michael Roberts, Penobscot County deputy district attorney, recommended that Gagne be sentenced to 25 years in prison with all but 20 years suspended.

In an article in Wednesday’s State section about a Washington County Superior Court case, the judge was identified incorrectly. His title and name are Justice Joseph Jabar.
