The Ellsworth City Council’s vote on a water protection ordinance for Branch Lake was reported incorrectly in Tuesday’s paper. Councilor John L. Moore voted in favor of the ordinance, making its approval unanimous. He actually raised his hand when the chairman asked for those opposed, but in later consultation with the clerk, the vote was changed from 6-1 to 7-0 to account for Moore’s intentions.
