Correcting the record

A Sept. 3 article in the State section about contract negotiations in Penobscot County should have reported that county employees on the individual health care plan were being asked for the first time to contribute to the plan and that those on the other plans, such as family, already were contributing to those costs.

The Paul Bunyan Bluegrass Festival is being held through Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Paul Bunyan Campground, Route 222, in Bangor. Friday’s article on the Happening page had it being held next weekend in the opening paragraph, although the correct dates were used in the rest of the story.

The date for the SAD 37 meeting at Narraguagus High School for school board members, selectmen and taxpayers of the district’s six member towns was incorrect in a Page One article in Friday’s paper. The meeting takes place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13.
