A story on Page A2 in the Saturday, Nov. 19, newspaper misidentified a contractor who is a defendant in the wrongful-death lawsuit involving a Glenburn woman killed two years ago in a Pushaw Road accident. Contractor Philip Mitchell is not owner of or affiliated with Mitchell Landscaping in Brewer, as erroneously stated in the article. The Brewer company is not involved in the case, and the Bangor Daily News regrets the error.
A story in the Thursday paper about a fatal accident on the Mud Creek Road in Lamoine should have said that the deceased, Barry Smallidge, was 22 years old and was driving a truck owned by his passenger, Brandon Sprague.
