A story published in Friday’s State section about a Bangor woman sentenced to jail for refusing to purchase workers’ compensation insurance requires clarification. Molly Maids terminated its franchise agreement with Janice Nye, 39, in October 2003 for failure to purchase the insurance, before a second employee was injured on the job, a spokeswoman for Molly Maids in Ann Arbor, Mich., said Friday.
