An article published in Saturday’s State section about the University of Maine art department’s move to Lord Hall incorrectly stated that the department plans to offer a graduate program in art history. There is a possibility of a graduate program in art education and an interdisciplinary master of fine arts program.
An omitted word changed the meaning of a sentence in a story in Monday’s State section about United Methodists’ outreach in Bangor. Bishop Peter Weaver told participants they were not launching a new initiative, but were returning to their roots.
