A Page One story published Saturday about the sentencing request for James Tobin of Bangor incorrectly described William Cohen as U.S. secretary of state. He was secretary of defense.
The headline was incorrect on a State section story in some editions Monday about a Pittsfield accident on Route 100. Nobody initially was charged with operating under the influence. The story also should have made clear that one of the cars involved left the road, but did not roll over.
A headline in Monday’s State section about weekend graduations incorrectly said EMMC when referring to Eastern Maine Community College.
