In the May 25 Well-Being section, a story about Maine senior citizens was unclear about a state-funded housekeeping service. The service is provided by Home Care of Maine, which is funded through a Maine state grant administered by the Maine Office of Elder Services.

An article published on Friday’s local page in the Final edition about a high-speed crash in Dixmont one day before should have reported that alcohol was not a factor in the accident that injured three people.

A graphic produced by The Associated Press that ran on Page A1 on Monday contained incorrect information about the United States Medal of Honor. The medal was created in 1862 by President Lincoln and Congress.

A caption accompanying a Page A1 story and photograph published Tuesday about diabetic schoolchildren misidentified the tool used to inject insulin. It is an insulin autoinjector pen.
