An Associated Press story on page B10 Friday about the death of former state legislator Charlene Rydell contained the wrong date for a memorial service. A service is planned at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick on June 25.
A story that ran on Page A1 Thursday about a Milo man’s conviction in Piscataquis County for destroying evidence by burning an infant’s remains contained two errors. The medical examiner did determine that the remains were male, but Deputy Attorney General William Stokes did not recall that information on Wednesday during a phone interview. Investigators did determine who the parents of the infant are, but are not releasing the information.
