A story that ran in some editions Thursday about the new SAD 3 school contract should have explained that Future MSAD 3, a nonprofit booster group raising funds for the new school, is aiming to raising $575,000. Of that amount, up to $500,000 will go toward building an auditorium above and beyond what the state will fund, including special lighting, sound, acoustic elements, curtains, a mezzanine and catwalk.

Wednesday’s page one story about the iBOT motorized wheelchair inaccurately stated the cost of the device. Though the price of the chair last year was $26,000, manufacturer Independence Technology is currently offering it at a promotional price of $23,900. Also, according to a company spokesman, the chair has three built-in computers, not four.
