A passage in a story in Monday’s paper about the republication of the book “The Life and Traditions of the Red Man” mistakenly referred to author Joseph Nicolar as James Nicolar.

A sports story in Monday’s paper should have stated that the Class D basketball state title won by Deer Isle-Stonington on Saturday was the first state title for a boys team. A Deer Isle-Stonington girls basketball team won the school’s first state title in 1987.
