A typographical error in a story about issues discussed at Tuesday’s Penobscot County commissioners’ meeting that ran in Wednesday’s State section changed the meaning of the sentence. It should have read: Commissioners also acknowledged the receipt of a thank-you card from dispatchers who last week moved from the basement of the 3rd District Court building to the third floor of the Penobscot County Courthouse. “I’ve seen the light,” one wrote, referring to the fact that the new space has windows and the cramped basement room did not.
