Madawaska Town Manager Christina Therrien said she was misquoted in a Page one story about job cuts at Fraser Papers, Inc., published in Tuesday’s editions. Therrien said a local perfume factory and ambulance business had been invited to participate in the final phase of a Community Development Block Grant application to preserve and possibly expand employment opportunities, not that a new perfume company or auto parts store may locate to Madawaska.
