A Millinocket Little League player’s name was spelled incorrectly in a photo caption on Page C4 in Wednesday’s paper. The player’s name is Nick Oakes.
Wednesday’s Page One story on the Bangor Theological Seminary’s plans to auction items relating to Vice President Hannibal Hamlin incorrectly reported that a bed Hamlin slept in would be sold. Seminary President William Imes said the seminary has a bed that belonged to the Hamlin family, but it is not for sale. Other beds from his home are for sale. The seminary does not believe a piano to be auctioned Saturday belonged to the Hamlin family, as was reported.
