Correcting the record

A March 24 story on B1 incorrectly cited the school where Patricia Bernhardt teaches. She is a science teacher at the James F. Doughty Middle School in Bangor.

In the Style section Wednesday, a What’s for Supper? item should have specified that the ham dinner 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, March 27, at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church is free, but by reservation. The church is at 517 Hammond St., Bangor. For reservations, call 945-5975 or 942-2517.

A headline on Page B1 of Thursday’s paper misidentified the Passamaquoddy reservation at Indian Township.

An article in some editions of Thursday’s paper about the Ellsworth Police Department’s first motorcycle patrol included inaccurate information about funding for the department’s plan to get a police dog. The Police Department already has on hand the $12,000 it needs to purchase the trained dog but would need the city’s approval in the 2005-06 budget process to spend $5,000 on overtime expenses for the dog’s handler.
