Correcting the record

A story in Friday’s Final edition incorrectly reported that the Hermon Town Council unanimously approved a liquor license for The Sports Arena. Chairman Stanley Chapman voted against the renewal. Also, it was a friend of a boxer, not a friend of the complex owner, who was involved in reported disorderly behavior, and Bangor police did not respond to that incident. Also, alcohol was not served in the complex parking lot.

A story on Thursday’s Well-Being page about the Dance Dance Revolution (DDR) game needs clarification. Space Port in the Bangor Mall offers time on the game at 75 cents for three tokens, not $1 as printed. The cost of the game can be as little as 60 cents, depending on the quantity of tokens purchased at one time.

A Coming Up item listed in Friday’s Happening section contained the wrong date. The free film “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised” will be shown at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 22, at the Peace and Justice Center, 170 Park St. in Bangor.
