A Thursday story on the Eddington selectmen’s opposition to the Taxpayer Bill of Rights should have stated that, in order to override TABOR’s spending limits, a two-thirds vote at town meeting would be required followed by a majority vote at a general election.
In an article that appeared Tuesday in the State section with the headline “Two nabbed in cocaine bust,” credit for the arrests of the two suspects should have been given to the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, MDEA. The DEA is the federal branch.
