Magic City Morning Star owner Kenneth Anderson said he believes that Brims Ness, Allagash Valve and Ad Time are businesses that are defunct or have failed to grow despite help from the Millinocket Area Growth and Investment Council.

An article [graphic] about election results in Wellington on Page A4 in Nov. 9 editions contained an error. The votes for governor in the election results should have read: John E. Baldacci (D) 52; Patricia E. LaMarche (G) 22; Barbara Merrill (U) 20; Phillip Morris NaPier (U) 1; Chandler E. Woodcock (R) 17.
