A story in some editions of the State section Friday about the city of Brewer’s request for an extension of the review and comment period for the West Old Town Landfill license amendment application should have said Dec. 31 was the requested deadline. In addition, the city’s letter seeking the extension says the proposed hauling route would involve “approximately 70 100,000-pound trucks” hauling waste daily on Main Street in Brewer.
