A Greenville School budget story on Tuesday should have read that the local share increased by $54,246, which is significantly less of an increase than in the previous two years. Also, the elementary and secondary principal’s office account was pared by $10,000.

A headline on a story on B3 of Tuesday’s paper that said “SAD 63 projected budget swells 5.41%” was inaccurate. In fact, SAD 63’s proposed budget represents a 3.41 percent increase. The $75,000 savings is from Medicaid, not Medicare.

A graphic that ran on Page B5 of Tuesday’s paper contained an error. Sebago Lake is in Cumberland County.

A story published Tuesday in the State edition about an accident in Presque Isle requires clarification. Police had said at the time that a 13-year-old girl was taken by helicopter to a Bangor hospital. The girl actually was taken by an airplane provided by Fresh Air LLC of Presque Isle, an air ambulance company.

A campaign announcement published Tuesday in the Final edition implied that Joseph E. Brooks, D-Winterport, is a member of the current Legislature. He is not. Brooks represented Maine House District 107 in the 118th, 119th and 120th legislatures. He was defeated in a 2002 race for the Maine Senate. Rep. Jeff Kaelin, R-Winterport, currently represents House District 107.
